I find public speaking to be different from conversation in the sense that the latter requires more depth of the subject, events and people.  Both require that there are pertinent and interesting stories to tell.  I selectively accept speaking engagements when there are interesting stories to share.  Visit my blog for synopses  of  ongoing topics.
